The Vigil Honor is the highest honor that the Order of the Arrow can bestow upon its members for service to the lodge, council, or Scouting. The Vigil Honor is a high mark of distinction and recognition reserved for those Arrowmen who, by reason of exceptional service, personal effort, and unselfish interest, have made distinguished contributions beyond the immediate responsibilities of their position of office to one or more of the following: Yerba Buena Lodge, Order of the Arrow, Scouting community, Scout Camp. To be eligible, one must be a Brotherhood member for at least two years. Anyone in the Lodge may nominate an eligible member (no self nominating). Recommendations for the 2024 Vigils will be accepted from March 3rd, 2024 until 6:00 PM on April 5th, 2024. Recommendations received after 6:00 pm on April 5th will not be accepted.
