Seunen Paschengink Village (Twin Valley District)

Welcome to Seunen Village, the village of the Badger. We serve the communities of Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, and Sunol. With a history of service that dates back to 1948 with Machek N’ Gult Lodge 375, we continue to provide leadership and service tot he Packs, Troops, District and Council. Our village name “Seunen Paschengink” means “Valleys of the Seunen”.

The Seunen were a band of the Chochenyo who lived in the Northwestern region of the Livermore valley. The Chochenyo in turn were one major division of what is now called the Muwekma people, also known as the Costanoan or Ohlone. Paschengink is a variation of the Lenape phrase “pahsayënk” which means “valleys of (location)”.
